North coast of Ireland
After flying back from London, we headed to the north coast to pick up our last three touristy spots. The first was a suspension bridge over a gap. Can't wait to show you the video. It is called Carrick a Rede. Lot of fun and not too many people so we got a lot of nice pictures and videos on the bridge. Pretty spot.
Not too far down the road was the Giants Causeway. A lot of traditional stories about a giant named Finn and how he built up the area. The hexagonal lava formations (think of Devils Tower but the columns are only 18" instead of 20 feet) cover a nice bit of area. At the very end we got chased away by a downpour, so headed back to the visitor center.
Then off to Bushmills, one of the larger whiskey distilleries here. Bought a little sample pack to bring back and share.
This is our last day of vacation. Having one last black pudding and we are off to the airport soon. Great trip!
